Java Developer

Columbus, OH

Position description

  • Works extensively in Java/JavaScript Develops applications using Spring, Struts, and Hibernate
  • Works throughout the entire software development lifecycle from analysis through post production support
  • Works with various methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  • Designs and develops applications on various databases including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Works on various tiers of the application, from developing the User Interface to developing business logic and tying it to the appropriate database
  • Executes testing responsibilities that include Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Communicates with users and stakeholders to clarify any requirement questions
  • Provides production release support in case issues arise
  • Works within a team environment to achieve on time and on budget deliverables

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years full stack Java development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
